History: ILOMUO-FESTIVAL IN NRI. THE CULTURALIZATION OF "IFEJIOKU", THE CULT OF YAM.
On Saturday 16th September. Afor, 2006. Eze Nri will offer to Chukwu the first harvest as directed, (Ifejioku) the ritualized yam cult. In thanking Chukwu for a good harvest, (Ifejioku Cult) must be appeased through its realization as the cult of yam. Before this, Ndi Nze na Ozo Titled Men will in accordance with tradition and custom, confess their sins and make atonements.
They must be spiritually clean as to partake in the biggest cultural festival of the community/Ndi Igbo.
